TESTIMONIAL

NEW CORROSION REMOVER AND CONVERTER

I would like to introduce you to a new and effective anti-corrosion product for application on all steel products, consisting of three different components:

             A rust remover

             A solvent

             A rust converter

Before I continue I would like to give you a bit of my background in order to make you understand why I support this product. I have been in the maritime industry for over 25 years (and I’m not talking about weekend yachting, I’m talking about steel ships). During this period I have seen what corrosion can do to a vessel. It requires maintenance every day of the week, every week of the year for the life of the vessel.

I have also seen and used many products without any significant success. This new product really does work, I know, I tested it myself.

The product is organic and therefore biodegradable, I will not mix it with coke and drink it, but it is also not nearly as dangerous as some of the stuff available on the market today. An explanation of the three different components are as follows:

The rust remover can be applied in various ways, it can be applied with a paint brush, sprayed on or for maximum effect submerge/soak items in the liquid. The beauty of this product is that it does not consume the metal, it only reacts with the rust. An item can therefore be left/forgotten in the rust remover indefinitely without any concern that the item will be dissolved (like some rust removers does). After application and once all the rust has been removed, the item is simply washed off with water and left to dry. It is important to note that even if there is no rust it is advisably to still apply the rust remover (even if it is a very thin layer) prior to treating the item/surface with the rust converter as it prepares the metal chemically for a better bond with the rust converter.

The solvent is used purely to dilute the rust converter in order to make it easier to work with and is mixed 50/50 with the rust converter.

The rust converter can be applied in the same way as the rust remover but only once the surface/item to be treated is 100% dry. For a better effect it is preferred to have the metal worm rather than cold when applying the rust converter. The rust converter does not form a thick layer over the metal like some products, it actually re-acts with the metal itself and forms a very thin but highly effective shield on the surface of the metal preventing the penetration of oxygen and thereby any further oxidation. After the surface/item is properly dry, it is then ready to be painted.

The following photographs give an illustration of the effectiveness of the product:

A rusted bolt partially treated with rust remover and rust converter.

An old spear point partially treated more than 9 months ago – no sign of rust whatsoever.
